My name is (as you might have guessed) Lance Burns. Amongst other things I am a PhD student and software engineer for Calytrix Technologies. My principal specialist area is Distributed Artificial Intelligence, with most of my other work being in the military distributed simulation and/or visualisation fields. I'm also an occasional musician and artist.

• Encephalon - A flexible service which allows client applications on many platforms to harness Distributed Artificial Intelligence for problem-solving. An offshoot of my PhD work, aimed at a much broader audience.
